Gas cylinders which fell off a lorry sparked off an explosion today at the Integrated Resort's construction site.
The 24 gas cylinders were being delivered by the lorry towards the site when they tumbled off and broke their necks. Sparks created in the process fed off the compressed oxygen that gushed out, causing a series of explosions that rattled office and construction workers in the nearby vicinity of the Central Business District.
No one was injured in the accident. Police have cordoned off part of the road in Central Boulevard for ongoing investigations.
